Before you toss your stale tortilla chips and open a new bag, consider reviving them with the help of your microwave or oven. Start by spreading the chips out on a baking sheet.
Once you've ensured that the chips are evenly spaced, bake the tortilla chips for about three to five minutes at 350 degrees F, or until they've crisped up again.
For the microwave method, place tortilla chips on a paper towel-lined plate. Microwave on high for 15 seconds, then in 10-second intervals until they are crispy.
An air fryer is also a good way to evenly heat a big batch of chips. Run them in a 400-degree F air fryer for two to four minutes, shaking the basket every 30 seconds.
