We Answer All Your Vital Questions About Costco's Party Platters
BY JAIMIE MACKEY
Types Of Plates
Costco offers special-order and ready-made party platter plates, serving everything sweet and savory, from appetizers to mains.
Costco's deli department offers special order cold platters at only a day of advance notice, whereas ready-to-eat trays are available per your location.
How To Order
Costco's special order party platters must be ordered in person via the order sheets at the bakery and deli kiosks, providing at least a day of advance notice.
Note your selections, fill out your information, and drop it in the slot at the kiosk before coming back on a chosen day for pick up. Pizza is the only exception to this rule.
Location Variations
While many of Costco's offerings are consistent from location to location, there are some party platters that you can only get if you live in the right place.
For example, Costco's sushi counters have been available at a few places in Japan, South Korea, and Hawaii for a while, but they weren't in Issaquah, Washington, until June 2023.
Fruit Trays
In the walk-in produce refrigerator, you'll find a ready-made, 3-pound, fresh-cut fruit bowl for $13.11, which is packaged by Del Monte and is not cut in-house.
For something a little more highbrow, look to Costco's fruit, meat, and cheese platters. They feature Italian salami, soppressata, grapes, and cubed cheddar and gouda cheese.
Breakfast Platters
While Costco does not offer special order breakfast platters, the breakfast pastries from each warehouse's in-house bakery are sized for large groups.
In addition to pre-made classic butter croissants and jumbo muffins, you can pick up danishes, apple strudels, and sugar-coated morning buns flavored with cinnamon and orange zest.
