What You Should Know Before Visiting A Target Starbucks

Whether you head to a Target Starbucks or a regular one, you can get free refills on certain drinks if you're a Starbucks Rewards member.
Have the barista scan your Starbucks app when ordering your first drink to get a free refill. You must get it within one store visit, making Target a perfect place for the perk.
Gift Cards
Even though Target Starbucks and regular Starbucks aren't the same in every way, you can still use your Starbucks gift cards at Target Starbucks.
If you've uploaded your gift card to the Starbucks app, you can scan it in person at any Target Starbucks cash register.
Merchandise
Some Target Starbucks stores can be smaller than their standalone counterparts, which can limit their merchandise options.
However, Target locations may have rare merchandise since they can order as many items as they want, whereas regular locations automatically have products shipped to them.
Wait Times
While standalone Starbucks locations have lots of baristas on shift, Target Starbucks stores usually don't have as many staff on hand.
You'll likely find that wait times at Target Starbucks are much longer than at a regular Starbucks during a rush.
Target App
The Starbucks app doesn't allow you to place an order at Target Starbucks locations; however, you can use the Target app instead.
Place a Drive-Up order for an in-store product in the app. Once you're notified that your item is ready to be picked up, you'll be prompted to place a Starbucks order if desired.
