On 72nd Street and Broadway in Manhattan's Upper West Side sits the busiest Trader Joe's location in the world. It has two floors equipped with two elevators and four escalators.
The location has a decent 3.9 out of 5 stars on Yelp, but nearly every review mentions long lines and high traffic; one user calls it "a frustration game of bumper cars all day."
However, most reviews also mention fantastic service and quick-moving lines, likely because there are nearly three times as many checkouts and employees as a typical location.
The store is open seven days a week from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. to accommodate NYC's huge population of over eight million people alongside 17 other NYC locations.
