Butternut squash is tough to peel, and its flesh is hard to slice through. If you buy the fruit frozen and pre-cut, you can skip all that work and have squash anytime you like.
Since most brands of squash are frozen at the peak of freshness, you won't be sacrificing any flavor or health benefits. You don't even have to thaw the cubes before using them.
