Why Does Costco Always Have A Line Outside Before It's Open?

While a line outside of a store usually indicates the place is selling is hard to get, the crowd waiting outside of Costco is there for another reason.
The Costco Reddit thread revealed that those in the restaurant industry heavily rely on the store's low prices and seemingly limitless stock.
According to one Reddit user, "A lot of local businesses actually run off of Costco supplies. Food trucks, small restaruants [sic], etc."
The user continued, "They get there as early as possible to make sure their stuff is in stock." Small business owners who arrive late risk losing out on vital supplies.
However, some people line up early for Costco to beat the rush of shoppers before the store becomes disorganized throughout the day.
