Why There's A Blue McDonald's Restaurant In Arizona
BY MICHELLE WELSCH
McDonald's famous arches are recognizably golden, but in Sedona, Arizona, they are blue, a design that was meant to complement the city's natural beauty.
When the construction of this McDonald’s began, government officials demanded that the chain use a color scheme that complemented Sedona's mountains and landscape.
While the unique design has become a tourist attraction, the interior is similar to other McDonald's locations. The menu doesn’t feature any special teal-hued treats, either.
