Why You Should Start Slicing Frozen Pizza Before Placing It In The Oven
BY AUTUMN SWIERS
Frozen pizzas are often large and can be hard to finish in one go. It's more efficient to cut the number of slices you want while the pie is frozen and save the rest for later.
Slicing your frozen pizza before baking also increases the surface area, so it cooks evenly all the way through. You won't have to deal with soggy, undesirable leftovers, either.
Use a pizza cutter wheel to cut the pizza, then choose only as many slices as you want and bake them on a pizza stone or a baking sheet wrapped in aluminum foil.
This way, you can enjoy only as much fresh pizza as you want, any time. For an even better texture, thaw the pizza for no more than a few hours in the fridge before baking it.
