Since 1878, XXXX has been the hometown favorite of Queensland, Australia. The brand is a staple in local establishments, events, and grocery stores.
Produced by Castlemaine Perkins Brewery, XXXX is beloved for its cultural significance, drinkability, and flavor. The brand even has its own cartoon mascot, Mr. Fourex.
Its recognizable name stems from a grade system reflecting quality. Near the end of the 19th century, Australian beers were tallied with X's to reflect excellence.
The brand offers five kinds of beer, such as the 3.5% ABV lager XXXX Gold. Although solely distributed in Australia, the beers remain among the country's most popular.
