You Need To Try Sweet And Savory Apple Quesadillas
BY NIKKI MUNOZ
If it's hard to choose between sweet and savory snacks, you can have the best of both worlds by making an apple quesadilla to satisfy your cravings.
The apples add a sweet flavor along with a crisp crunch to the gooey cheesiness and savory crispness of classic cheese quesadillas.
You can use any apple, but for a truly sweet dimension, go with fuji, gala, or Honeycrisp, and pair it with a mildly tangy cheese like cheddar, Colby, or Monterey Jack.
Cut the apple into thin slices and layer it with shredded cheese on your tortilla in a pan. Cook until crisp on both sides and serve with salsa, guac, or a drizzle of hot honey.
