While most items on the Popeye's Chicken menu live up to their hype, the Signature Hot Wings are one item you should never bother ordering.
Spicy chicken is why many people go to Popeyes, as the chain usually does it better than most restaurants, thanks to its special ghost pepper marinade.
Unfortunately, the execution of the Signature Hot Wings doesn't really live up to expectations. The chicken loses its crunchiness quickly, so you'll need to eat fast.
Even worse, the overwhelming heat of the sauce completely masks Popeyes' famous blend of spices and herbs, leaving you with more burn and no flavor.
