Sam received his first byline at the age of 15 and has been working as a critic, copywriter, and journalist ever since. In addition to editing for Tasting Table, Sam has also written articles and videos for outlets like Looper, StudioBinder, and Asian Movie Pulse. As an independent filmmaker, Sam has written, directed, edited, and produced several award-winning short films. As a former ghostwriter, he wrote for many food and health brands that he cannot name but you may be familiar with.

Sam received a Bachelor of Film Science degree from Full Sail University.
