Hank's Oyster Bar & Lobster Rolls | Dupont Circle, Washington D.C.

An exclusive deal at Hank's Oyster Bar

In this land of crabcakes, we still love a little lobster, particularly when it comes in a sublime lobster roll.

Inspired by New England's seafood shacks, the Dupont location of Hank's Oyster Bar serves fried oysters, popcorn shrimp, and Maine-style lobster rolls with Old Bay-spiced fries.

The lobster roll at Hank's is a taste of summers at the shore. Large chunks of sweet lobster, mixed with a dab of mayonnaise and a hint of celery, spill from the warm, buttery, griddled split bun.

Sunday, May 15, through Tuesday, May 17, Tasting Table readers can enjoy a lobster roll, a choice of two sides and a glass of house wine for $30. Simply tell your host or hostess when ordering that you'll be having the Tasting Table special.

Chef Jamie Leeds of Hank's Oyster Bar will also bring her stellar rolls north, to Tasting Table's 2011 Lobster Roll Rumble in New York. The Thursday, June 9, event (benefiting Share Our Strength) will feature the best lobster rolls from around the country competing for top honors.
