Universal Studios To Open Chocolate Factory And Restaurant

Your childhood dreams of hanging out in Willy Wonka's chocolate factory are coming to life: Universal Studios is planning to open something called the Toothsome Chocolate Factory later this year. It will essentially be a restaurant dedicated to all things chocolate or, as its blog puts it, "The Toothsome Chocolate Factory will transport you into a 19th century-inspired Steampunk chocolate factory."

Adding, "You'll indulge your appetite amidst towering smoke stacks, funky gadgetry, and staff wearing unique Steampunk fashion." (So it sounds a bit like Willy Wonka circa 1880, but that's OK.) There will be a chocolate-production facility on-site where visitors can watch bars and other sweets being made—which, of course, can be purchased in the gift shop.

The menu seems to focus on Black Tap-esque milkshakes, in flavors like:

To balance out all of that chocolate, there will be steak, seafood, pasta, burgers, salads and all-day brunch—but, really, isn't all that stuff beside the point?
