Drake Is Releasing A New Bourbon
Drake's getting in the bourbon game with Virginia Black
It's finally here, and we don't mean Drake's highly anticipated Views from the 6 album.
Rather, we're counting down the days until we can get our hands on Drizzy's new bourbon project, Virginia Black, made in partnership with Brent Hocking of DeLeón Tequila and hitting shelves May 1. The line rolls out in California, New York and Nevada first, then across the country and later internationally.
Sadly, it's not bubbles from the self-dubbed @champagnepapi, however, the American whiskeys are pretty luxe, aged between two and four years, and personally selected by the rapper. Drake joins the league of booze-making celebs and seems to confirm that the logical next step for budding big names is booze with one's name slapped on it. And since Jay-Z called dibs on Champagne, that means bourbon for the always-sharp, lint-rolling rapper in an already-crowded market.
So now you know what to sip neat during your Views from the 6 listening party. But as for Drake's next booze collab, we have a suggestion closer to home for the Toronto native: Crown Royal!
