EAT (RED) SAVE LIVES 2018: NYC, L.A.

You're being called upon to help #86AIDS this month

For most of us, two dimes are nothing more than loose change rattling in our pockets. But those 20 cents are all it takes to provide someone in need with a day's worth of HIV medication. That's why (RED) is making it easier than ever to put those extra coins to use with its EAT (RED), SAVE LIVES campaign.

Throughout June the organization is partnering with chefs and restaurants around the country to help turn your food and drink choices into a way to, in its words, #86AIDS.

"Eighty-six in the restaurant world means 'We're done,' we don't have any more of that," New York-based chef Elizabeth Falkner notes. "And that's what we want to do with AIDS. We need to 86 AIDS." She's just one of the culinary titans (in addition to Angie Mar, Sara Kramer and Jessica Koslow, just to name a few) who are banding together for secret pop-up dinners in New York and Los Angeles, where proceeds from each ticket can provide up to 90 days of medication. Can't make it to this traveling dinner series? Here are a few other restaurants and food companies across the country that are making saving a life as easy as filling up your plate.
