Plan Check

Sawtelle Boulevard is not a logical destination for pastrami. Lined with Japanese restaurants, the West L.A. street is far from a Jewish enclave. But the new Plan Check makes a mean pastrami sandwich, stacked with smoked and seared brisket, kimchi mustard, Swiss cheese and pickles. Oh, and what's that on top of the bread? A fried egg. It's far, far from Kosher, but quite delicious.
