South L.A. is not where you'd expect to find a large selection of vegan and vegetarian dishes, but this Crenshaw Blvd. standby has just that. Every animal-based dish on the menu has a meatless counterpart, including the Thriller Tamales, a bit of masa studded with stewed veggies and blanketed in kidney-bean chili and melted cheddar (or vegan!) cheese.
