El Farolito

The Mission and 24th Street location of this nine-restaurant chain is one of the oldest taquerias in town and still one of the best. It's the rare shop where the carne asada is as flavorful as the marinated pork, and where the cooks stuff a super burrito with the right balance of sour cream, cheese and guacamole so that it's rich but not gloopy.
