Larder At The Tavern

Suzanne Goin doesn't do a cheap lunch, per se, but she does do a delicious one at this "casual" Brentwood spot. The fries served with the burgers, shot through with bits of crispy sage and rosemary, are some of our favorite (even if they don't give you enough ketchup to eat them with), and the chewy sandwich bread tastes great no matter what it's filled with. We are especially partial to the ham-and-butter sandwich with watercress and radishes.
