The dry-aged rib eye for two served at Andrew Kirschner's Santa Monica restaurant is one of the better steaks in town. This artfully charred hunk of meat, long on earthy, mushroomy flavor, deserves an excellent bottle of red wine, which Tar & Roses can readily supply.
