How To Get Your Hands On Pepsi And IHOP's Limited-Edition Soda

Pepsi took to Instagram on March 24 to announce some very exciting news for fans of the cola brand: Pepsi has partnered with IHOP to create an all-new maple syrup-flavored cola that will be available to some for a limited time. In a press release received by Tasting Table, the new soda flavor is described as marrying "the indulgent flavor profile of maple syrup with the crisp, refreshing caramel notes of a Pepsi." The soda is being released in specially designed 12-ounce cream-colored cans with a maple syrup drizzle falling from the rim of the can.

Of course, this isn't the only sweet and innovative flavor the company has released lately. Fans have also seen Pepsi partner with Peeps, Cracker Jack, and even make an apple pie Pepsi over recent months. Within four hours of posting, the maple syrup Pepsi post had received more than 19,500 likes on Instagram. Unfortunately, maple syrup is a "highly limited flavor" that only 2,000 people will ultimately get to try. But for those who participate in the social media contest that starts today, some will win the exclusive new flavor.

This is how a limited number of Pepsi fans can get it

According to the press release, Pepsi's maple syrup cola will only be available to those who take part in the #ShowUsYourStack campaign on Instagram and Twitter. Those hopping to try this breakfast-inspired flavor should start planning their pancake photoshoot now. Simply share a photo or video of your pancakes on either social media platform, tag @IHOP, and include hashtags #ShowUsYourStack and #PepsiSweepstakes for your chance to get this exclusive flavor.

"We can't wait to celebrate those who have an unapologetic love of pancakes by giving the limited-edition cans to 2,000 fans who #ShowUsYourStack online," Pepsi's Chief Marketing Officer Todd Kaplan said. One winner will even get a custom Pepsi Spout to perfectly pour the new soda. Not to mention, it was designed with the IHOP syrup pitchers in mind. But you will need to act fast. The #ShowUsYourStack promotion ends March 29, so enter soon to try the maple syrup-flavored Pepsi.
