Video: Watch How Brazil's Favorite Chocolates Get Made
The sweet confection you need to know about
Are you watching the Olympics, wishing you were in Rio right now? If a last-minute getaway south of the border is not in your future, we have the next best thing. Brigadeiros are Brazil's favorite chocolate, and one stateside chocolatier is making them right here in Brooklyn. So now you, too, can get a taste of Rio without shelling out for a plane ticket.
The classic brigadeiro uses a dough made of condensed milk and cocoa powder, chilled and rolled into a ball then covered in chocolate sprinkles. But the fun doesn't stop there; other flavors include ginger, almond and sea salt.
Watch the video above to see Brazil's favorite treat come alive.
