The 50 Best Bars In The World

This year's list of the World's 50 Best Bars dropped last night at a giant party in London, where there was a whole lot of booze and industry folk celebrating. New York's Dead Rabbit topped the list this year after coming in second for two years in a row. NYC made a strong showing with eight bars on the list, but London came out king with a total of nine, including three of the top five.

The winners were decided by 476 bar experts, what the team at World's 50 Best describes as "the strongest, most diverse collection of industry authorities ever assembled to express their views on the best bars in the world." Each expert was asked to list and rank the five best bars they have visited (excluding their own, of course). In total, the group nominated 652 bars.
