Pepsi Is Celebrating The End Of Summer With S'mores-Inspired Sodas
Although most beverage brands are already deep into fall sipping season, offering a slew of pumpkin spice lattes and other fall-friendly beverages, Pepsi is celebrating the end of summer in style with a new line of nostalgic treat-inspired sodas.
In a press release shared with Tasting Table, Pepsi — which rang in the summer season with a massive BBQ giveaway — unveiled a new limited-edition collection that pays homage to one of the most iconic summertime treats: s'mores. In honor of the last day of summer, the company is launching the Pepsi S'mores Collection, a trio of Pepsi flavors that replicate the three core ingredients of a classic s'more.
The s'mores-inspired collection is hardly the first time Pepsi has experimented with unconventional flavors. In the past, the company has offered maple syrup-flavored soda, apple pie-inspired Pepsi, Cracker Jack-flavored soda, and even a trio of colas inspired by the flavors of Peeps.
However, unlike past limited-edition Pepsi offerings, the s'mores collection will be available exclusively in 7.5-ounce miniature cans (compared to a standard 12-ounce soda can). The reduced size of the can is meant to encourage Pepsi fans to mix and match the trio of new flavors.

The Pepsi S'mores Collection flavors include Graham Cracker, infused with cinnamon and honey notes; Toasty Marshmallow, which mimics the flavor of a lightly toasted marshmallow; and Chocolate, a cocoa-flavored soda with hints of vanilla. Customers are encouraged to mix the trio of flavors in a cold glass, experimenting with different quantities to craft the perfect individualized drinkable s'more.
"This newest drop allows fans to construct their own s'mores to their liking — with the perfect amounts of graham, marshmallow, and chocolate – in a deliciously indulgent drink without any of the mess," said Todd Kaplan, Pepsi's Chief Marketing Officer, in a press release.
To celebrate the release of the S'mores Collection, Pepsi is giving fans the chance to win a set of the limited-edition flavors. To enter, soda enthusiasts must take to Twitter or Instagram to share a "description of how they s'more" using the hashtags #PepsiSmores and #Sweepstakes by September 27. Pepsi will randomly select 2,000 winners to receive the prize — spooky fire-side ghost stories not included.
