National Coffee Day 2022: Where To Find The Best Freebies And Deals
National Coffee Day is coming up on September 29. National Today states that The United States and Canada use this day to celebrate their favorite caffeinated beverage — nearly 75% of caffeinated beverages consumed each year are some form of coffee, according to a survey the site conducted.
National Coffee Day was first celebrated in Japan back in 1983, per Community Coffee. The holiday aims to bring awareness to coffee farmers and promote fair-trade practices for more sustainable products. An average of 400 million coffees are consumed each day in America, for a total of 146 billion yearly (via National Today).
To celebrate National Coffee Day this year, some of our favorite brands are offering deals on freshly brewed coffee. Even if you typically make your own brews at home to save some cash, treat yourself to a discounted — or even free — cup of coffee to celebrate this holiday! Here's where to look.
Peet's Coffee
Peet's Coffee is bringing the coffee to you. According to a press release, customers that order their coffee delivery through the Peet's app will be treated to free delivery between September 29 and October 2. On September 29, customers can also claim a free small drip coffee with any purchase in participating Peet's Coffee bars.
Prefer to make your perfect cup at home? Grab some beans, grounds, K-cup pods, and espresso capsules for 20% off, valid in stores and on the Peet's website from September 29 through October 2.
