Betty Crocker's New Holiday Cookie Kit Is Designed For Reese's Fans
Every year during the holidays, store aisles are filled with baking supplies, from green and red sprinkles to peppermint chocolate chips and pre-made pie crusts to cookie-making kits. The holiday season is when even the person who hasn't opened their oven all year feels the urge to make some baked treats to share with family and friends. According to a survey by Dawn Food Products, a majority of Americans (73%) get excited to bake during the holidays, with 44% of women and 25% of men choosing to bake their own treats, rather than buy them at a store. When deciding what kind of cookies to make, the Food Network recommends asking yourself a few questions, such as: Will they be mailed? Are they for a child's classroom? And does anyone have a nut allergy? This will determine how sturdy they need to be for mailing and what ingredients they should include.
However, a lot of people find baking stressful and time-consuming. More than half (55%) of the respondents to the Dawn Foods survey who have kids at home under the age of 18 are likely to say they don't have the time to bake. Fortunately, Betty Crocker has a product for people who want the taste of a homemade cookie but are short on time.
Festive and tasty
