The Secret Menu Starbucks Drink To Enjoy On A Full Moon

Although Starbucks has long been known for its fall menu items – ranging from the ubiquitous Pumpkin Spice Latte to rotating seasonal offerings, like the Apple Crisp Macchiato — a new caffeinated menu item inspired by a certain hairy mythological creature may be the coffee company's spookiest seasonal offering to date.

In a Twitter post shared earlier this month, blogger DisneyFoodBlog gave a sneak peek of the specialty drink menu at a Starbucks location in Disney Springs, an outdoor shopping complex adjacent to the Disney World theme park in Orlando, Florida. Among the festive menu items is a werewolf-themed Frappuccino dubbed the "Wolfman," a Java Chip Frappuccino with an added espresso shot and topped with strawberry puree. The Disney enthusiast also shared a video of the howl-worthy Wolfman drink, showing off the blood-like strawberry drizzle throughout the iced beverage (via Twitter).

According to Disney Food Blog, the Disney Springs location's specialty menu also featured additional spooky season offerings like the monster-inspired "Frankenfrapp," a green tea-flavored base with peppermint, white mocha and mocha drizzle, and java chips, and the "Mummy Frappuccino," which calls for a blend of vanilla bean with a cake pop.

The seasonal Disney Springs beverages aren't the first time creepy secret menu items have been offered at Starbucks locations across the country. According to an Instagram post by @pixiedustedfun, which compares the flavor of the werewolf-themed beverage to "a chocolate-covered strawberry," the Wolfman Frappuccino has been offered during the Halloween season at the Disney Springs location since at least 2020.

And, for Starbucks enthusiasts who are more partial to vampires than werewolves, the company previously offered the "Frappula Frappuccino," a white chocolate mocha-flavored blended beverage with layers of mocha sauce, strawberry puree, and whipped cream (via Starbucks Stories & News). Although the drink is no longer an official Starbucks offering, the cold beverage lives on as a "fang-tastic" secret menu item, per Starbucks Secret Menu.

Although it's unclear if the Wolfman is on the menu at other Starbucks locations across the U.S., those looking to celebrate the full moon in style with a werewolf-approved beverage can always customize any Frappuccino order ... at the risk of being howled at by their barista.
