Starbucks' Secret Menu Blackberry Cobbler Frappuccino Is Summer In A Cup
The only thing better than a summer day spent lying out by the pool is a summer day spent lying out by the pool with a cool drink in hand. And if you're on the hunt for a new refreshing sip to help you beat the heat, Starbucks has you covered. Because while the brand may be known for its iconic mocha peppermint and pumpkin spice holiday flavors, its summer drink selection is far from lacking. But although the coffee giant's refreshers offer plenty of fruity-fun flavors and its beloved Frappuccinos will always help you cool down, we're here to tell you that one of the best Starbucks drinks for fun in the sun is off-the-menu.
With so many tasty summer flavors to choose from at Starbucks, what makes this secret menu item so special? Well, we all know that with blackberries at peak season (via Very Fit), no summer is complete without slicing into a gooey blackberry cobbler served up with a healthy helping of ice cream. And the secret menu drink best suited for the beach takes all of those delicious ingredients and blends them into a creamy dream of a Frappuccino.
Here's how you can get your hands on what may just be your new favorite way to ring in summer: the Blackberry Cobbler Frappuccino (per TikTok).
Sip into summer with a Blackberry Cobbler Frappuccino
Like many Starbucks Secret menu items, there are a few different ways to order this summer-perfect treat. However, TikTok user Kali Perry, who is a barista at Starbucks, reports the most simple (and possibly original) method is to ask, "Can I get a vanilla bean frap with blackberries and white mocha?"
But if you really want to up the flaky cobbler crust flavor and sweet fruit taste of your blackberry cobbler-inspired Frappuccino, TikToker's Holly Walker suggests using a recipe that takes notes from Starbucks' popular Very Berry Hibiscus Refresher. (Note: Some Starbucks locations may not offer the Very Berry Hibiscus Refresher, so you'll want to check with your barista if they have the ingredients on hand before you order.)
However, if it turns out they do, per the TikToker, you should still order a grande vanilla bean frappe with one scoop of mocha and one scoop of freeze-dried blackberries. But then, you need to ask your barista to fill the cup with very berry juice and to put graham cracker topping on the top and bottom of the drink.
No matter which version you choose, you may want to be wary of your drink's blackberry count. A TikTok user named Liz noted that the blackberry seeds could be overwhelming if you put too much of the ingredient in your Frappuccino. But so long as you don't go overboard on the fruit, you'll be on your way to sipping on a creamy drink worthy of summer vacation.
