Gordon Ramsay To Open Connecticut Hell's Kitchen Restaurant Location

Connecticut residents and visitors who happen to be craving what's arguably the world's most perfect beef Wellington will be in luck this summer. Chef Gordon Ramsay plans to open a new Hell's Kitchen location in Mashantucket, Connecticut, joining established restaurants in Southern California, Las Vegas, Lake Tahoe, Washington D.C., and Atlantic City. This will bring the total number of Hell's Kitchen locations to six.

When Tasting Table chatted with Ramsay's VP of Culinary, Chef Christina Wilson, in an exclusive 2022 interview, we learned that Ramsay's signature dishes, like beef Wellington, seared scallops, risotto, and sticky toffee pudding, will always be at the core of every Hell's Kitchen location. Like the D.C. location, which opened earlier in January 2023, we expect the new Connecticut site to feature original dishes that embrace local flavors to round the menu out. Where exactly will the new location be?

The latest Hell's Kitchen will be at the Foxwoods Resort and Casino in the Grand Pequot Tower

According to Foxwoods Resort and Casino, the newest Hell's Kitchen will be situated in its Grand Pequot Tower, and it's slated to open in the summer of 2023. The restaurant will give guests "an immersive dining experience" and will seat 260 people. The Foxwoods Hell's Kitchen will be able to accommodate 40 people in a private dining room and also plans to feature a chef's counter for an up-close look at what goes into preparing world-class dishes.

While the busy kitchen will be the centerpiece of the new Hell's Kitchen, guests can also expect to find memorable craft cocktails, a thoughtful wine list, as well as carefully curated beer and spirits options. Connecticut Insider notes that the design of the restaurant will reflect elements from Ramsay's Hell's Kitchen television program, though we'd expect that guests won't be subjected to the often-chaotic scenes from the show. Foxwood Resort and Casino states the atmosphere will be one of "upscale comfort and sophistication."
