Chick-Fil-A Brings Back Watermelon Mint Lemonade And More For Spring
Musician-comedian Tim Hawkins sings in his ode to the chain, "Chick-fil-A. I could eat there seven times a day. Where the people laugh and children play, oh I'm in love with Chick-fil-A." It might seem like hyperbolically high praise, but the fast food chain has been occupying a lot of mental real estate for foodies lately. In Piper Sandler's most recent biannual survey, Gen Z consumers named Chick-fil-A as their favorite go-to restaurant. It has also topped the American Customer Satisfaction Index for all fast-food restaurants eight years in a row. Now, Chick-fil-A is making headlines for answering many longtime fans' prayers and keeping the customer satisfaction train rolling.
Year-round, Chick-fil-A fans enjoy the chain's lemonade for its refreshing sweetness and simple ingredients: lemon juice, water, and cane sugar. Still, classic "lemon" isn't the only flavor to ever grace Chick-fil-A's bevy lineup. Watermelon Mint Lemonade first debuted in 2017, and it's been on a six-year hiatus ever since — but fans never forgot about it. Now, according to a press release, back by popular demand, Chick-fil-A's Watermelon Mint Lemonade will be returning to stores on Monday, April 3. The fan-favorite sipper will also be joined by three all-new flavored refreshers: here's what's on the menu.
Three new springtime sippers are about to drop
Just in time for sunny spring days, Chick-fil-A is introducing the all-new Watermelon Mint Sunjoy, Watermelon Mint Frosted Lemonade, and Watermelon Mint Iced Tea. Per the press release, Watermelon Mint Sunjoy is an Arnold Palmer-esque sweet-tea-lemonade combo infused with watermelon and mint. Meanwhile, Watermelon Mint Frosted Lemonade is a rootbeer-float-like treat made with Chick-fil-A's exclusive Icedream vanilla soft serve, and Watermelon Mint Iced Tea is exactly what it sounds like and can be ordered sweetened or unsweetened.
In a rush? Or just wicked thirsty and need a cool beverage, like, now? You could make this copycat version at home, but the trip to Chick-fil-A can actually be just as quick. The chain leads the "fast" food industry in drive-thru speeds, and last summer, it announced plans to make its ordering process even quicker. You can have a Watermelon Mint Lemonade in your hand at literal record speeds — which, considering the longevity of the seasonal menu, might come in handy. All four offerings are available for a limited time only.
