Cinnamon Crumble 'French Toast' Bread Pudding at Primo Piatto

While Epcot theme park may not boast an extensive array of quick breakfast options, the nearby Riviera Resort offers a delightful alternative. To reach the hotel, simply take the Skyliner, which conveniently drops you off right outside the resort. As you pass beneath a stunning mosaic archway, you'll find yourself in the resort's picturesque courtyard. Just a short walk through the courtyard will bring you to the inviting Primo Piatto.

Here, you can savor one of the most scrumptious sweet breakfast dishes available on the property: the Cinnamon Crumble "French Toast" Bread Pudding. Served with a delectable vanilla custard sauce for drizzling, this generous portion of bread pudding is sure to satisfy your morning cravings. For a well-balanced meal, we recommend pairing this treat with a side of sausage to add some protein to your breakfast.

To fully enjoy the rich flavors of the bread pudding, we recommend cutting it into pieces and then liberally drizzling the vanilla custard sauce over it. This ensures that the sauce seeps into every nook and cranny, making the dish irresistibly moist and delicious. While Primo Piatto offers a variety of tasty menu options, we find it nearly impossible to visit for breakfast without indulging in this heavenly treat. After savoring your delectable breakfast, you can hop back on the Skyliner and continue your journey to Epcot for a fantastic day of exploring the world showcase and beyond.

Ciabatta Breakfast Sandwich at BoardWalk Deli

One of our top choices for a quick yet satisfying breakfast is at the newly reopened BoardWalk Deli. This delightful eatery serves scrumptious sandwiches suitable for any time of the day. Conveniently located near Epcot and Hollywood Studios, the deli is easily accessible via the Skyliner or by boat, making it an ideal stop before you embark on your park adventures.

A standout early offering is the Ciabatta Breakfast Sandwich, a plant-based twist on the classic eggs Florentine prepared with JUST egg and fresh vegetables. The ciabatta bread is expertly toasted to achieve a crispy texture without being overly crunchy. One of the highlights of this sandwich is the flavorful tomato jam, which not only prevents the sandwich from becoming too dry but also serves as a delightful adhesive to hold everything together. The generous layer of arugula adds a pleasant crunch, perfectly complementing the Florentine riff and enhancing the overall taste.

In addition to the mouthwatering sandwich, you have the option to choose a side to complete your meal. While the choices may be limited to bacon, apple, banana, or orange, there is something to suit everyone's preferences. For those adhering to a plant-based diet, the bacon may not be suitable, but an apple or banana makes for a convenient addition to your park bag, doubling as a mid-morning snack.

Warm Cinnamon Roll at Gaston's Tavern

Cinnamon rolls are a popular treat found throughout Disney World, and while many of them come in the charming Mickey-shaped form, we often find these versions lacking in the icing department. However, despair not, cinnamon roll aficionados, for the ultimate rendition awaits you at Gaston's Tavern.

Situated just outside Beast's castle and in close proximity to the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, you will discover a tavern inspired by the watering hole highlighted in "Beauty and the Beast." Here, you can indulge in a Warm Cinnamon Roll featured on the snack menu. But be forewarned: Its popularity often results in a morning queue as guests eagerly await their chance to savor this delectable pastry.

The pastry is a delightful combination of gooey, moist dough and a generous layer of rich, creamy frosting. For those who simply can't get enough of that sweet topping, you can even request extra on the side to satisfy your cravings. This mouthwatering cinnamon roll is not only delicious but also large enough to be easily shared among family or friends.

Sausage and Gravy Tots at The Friar's Nook

If you arrive at the Magic Kingdom early, it's not uncommon to work up an appetite rather quickly, given all the walking and excitement. To stave off hunger and fuel your magical day, make your way to The Friar's Nook for a delicious and satisfying quick breakfast.

While the menu does feature breakfast sandwiches, our top pick is the mouthwatering Sausage and Gravy Tots. This hearty dish consists of a generous portion of crispy tater tots smothered in a savory sausage gravy. Perfectly seasoned with a peppery kick, this warm and comforting meal evokes the familiar taste of biscuits and gravy, but with a delightful twist using potatoes instead of biscuits.

We particularly enjoy the Sausage and Gravy Tots as an alternative to a breakfast sandwich because it's surprisingly easy to eat while strolling through the park. The thick gravy clings to the tater tots effortlessly, minimizing the potential for a messy meal. Furthermore, the wait time for food at The Friar's Nook tends to be shorter, as many visitors overlook this breakfast option in favor of exploring the park's attractions.

Donut at Joffrey's

When it comes to coffee at Walt Disney World, visitors typically have two primary options: Starbucks or Joffrey's. While Starbucks locations are limited to one spot per park, Joffrey's boasts a more extensive presence with numerous stands to choose from. Alongside its coffee offerings, Joffrey's also serves a variety of pastries, with the standout favorite being the chain's massive donuts.

These colossal treats provide a delectable breakfast on-the-go and are sure to be a hit with your entire family. Customers can usually choose from several frosting colors, including blue, pink, white, and chocolate. Each donut is adorned with a generous helping of colorful sprinkles, and during the holidays, you'll find festive offerings reflecting various seasonal celebrations. Occasionally, you may even come across donuts topped with a multitude of M&Ms.

Joffrey's donuts are an excellent breakfast option for guests on the move, as they are readily available in each of the theme parks. Although supplies tend to run out by midday, you can usually count on finding a donut in the morning to kickstart your park visit. Don't forget the coffee.

Bacon and Gruyère Quiche at The Mara

For guests staying at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, be sure to visit The Mara for a delicious and convenient breakfast experience. This quick-service dining location offers a range of classic eggy items including a delectable quiche that has quickly become a favorite of ours.

The mouthwatering Bacon and Gruyère Quiche is a meaty, cheesy masterpiece. These mini quiches are expertly cooked to achieve a beautiful golden hue on top, while the crust remains delightfully flaky and buttery. For those who enjoy an added kick, we recommend drizzling some hot sauce on the quiche, although it's just as delicious without it. Though several other resort quick-service locations offer a variety of quiche options, the irresistible combination of bacon and Gruyère has captured our hearts and taste buds. The egg-based dish is a particularly ideal breakfast choice since it provides ample protein to fuel your busy day exploring the parks.

Fruit Waffle Sandwich at Sleepy Hollow

Beyond the savory tots at Magic Kingdom, visitors can also indulge in a scrumptious sweet breakfast option at Sleepy Hollow, located just past the bridge in Liberty Square. Among their various waffle offerings, the Fruit Waffle Sandwich stands out as a superior choice.

This delightful treat features a generously sized waffle slathered in a chocolate-hazelnut spread reminiscent of Nutella. Folded within the waffle, you'll discover a medley of fresh strawberries, blueberries, and sliced bananas. For those with allergies or aversions to hazelnuts or chocolate, you can request the waffle without the spread and enjoy it with butter and syrup instead. The combination of flavors creates a satisfying, sweet breakfast that's easy to enjoy on-the-go. And, with an abundance of fruit, it's not an entirely unhealthy option either. If you prefer to sit down and enjoy your breakfast before embarking on your first ride, Sleepy Hollow offers nearby tables with picturesque views of Cinderella Castle.

Tonga Toast at Capt. Cooks

Tonga Toast is a rather popular breakfast item at Walt Disney World. In fact, at the Polynesian Village Resort, there are two places you can order it. For a sit-down dining option, you can order Tanga Toast with a strawberry compote from the Kona cafe. Alternatively, for something quicker, you can order the same Tonga Toast from Capt. Cook's, a quick service on the main level of the resort. If you are not staying at the Polynesian resort, you can get there quickly from the Magic Kingdom via monorail or boat.

The only difference between this Tonga Toast and the one sold at the sit-down dining location is that the Capt. Cook version does not come with a strawberry compote. However, it is exactly the same otherwise. Tonga Toast is a cube of sourdough bread that has been stuffed with banana and then deep fried before being covered in a cinnamon sugar coating. It is delicious, and although that banana feeling may not sound like the ideal option to have in the middle, it creates a nice consistency that keeps the Tonga Toast moist. Although the Kona Cafe version with strawberries is even better than this one, for a quick and delicious breakfast, Tonga Toast from Capt. Cook's is a fabulous option.

Fruit Tart at Le Petit Café

Le Petit Café in The Rivera Resort and is another excellent spot to grab a quick bite. (Fans of the "The Aristocrats" will find the name familiar.) If you are looking to eat on the run or just need something to tide you over for your dinner or lunch reservations, we highly recommend checking out the fruit tarts here. Of course, this isn't the most traditional of breakfasts, but it has fruit, after all, so we say it counts.

On each tart, you'll get bright, fresh fruit artfully arranged and presented in a way that will make you feel as though you've left Disney World and are, in fact, in a French patisserie or cruising the Riviera. Plus, you can get one of our absolute favorite Disney coffee drinks, too: the almond cold brew. If the fruit tarts aren't really your style, the café also offers a mini loaf of banana nut bread and other breakfast pastries. We suggest making a return in the evening when Le Petit Café transforms into a lounge with tasty adult beverages.

Ronto Morning Wrap at Ronto Roasters

For breakfast that is otherworldly, check out the Ronto Morning Wrap over at Ronto Roasters located in Hollywood Studios. There aren't many wonderful breakfast options at this park, but there really doesn't need to be, because this sausage, egg, and cheese combo absolutely takes the cake. When you approach Ronto Roasters, you'll hear a loud roaring, buzzing mechanical engine sound. No worries; this is just a droid cooking your breakfast. As you get even closer, you'll be able to smell that sweet scent known all around the galaxy: roasted ronto. At least, that's what the storytelling for this land would have you believe. It's actually pork, but calling it ronto just makes this area feel that much more immersive. You'll also notice that the pickup window where you gather your Ronto Wrap is situated within a high-roofed building tall enough for the large Ronto animals roasted there.

Throughout the day, you can order a regular Ronto Wrap that will include a grilled pork sausage, sliced and roasted pork, a delicious peppercorn sauce, and take a slaw. It all gets wrapped up and served in warm pita bread. But for breakfast, this wrap changes. Instead of the sliced pork, your pita gets a large egg patty, and you also have shredded cheese instead of the slaw. While we enjoy the regular Ronto Wrap, our preference is really the breakfast wrap. It feels like an elevated breakfast sandwich and perfectly fits the theme of the land.

Raspberry Lunch Box Tart at Woody's Lunch Box

Outside of Galaxy's Edge at Hollywood Studios, you will find an area dedicated to "Toy Story" where you get to pretend to be a toy well venturing around the rides and shops. You'll also find a quick-service restaurant called Woody's Lunch Boxwhere you'll find one of our favorite walkabout treats at the park: the tangy and sweet Raspberry Lunch Box Tart.

Though the name would have you believe it's more of a mid-day bite, it reminds us of a homemade Pop-Tart, which, of course, is a perennial breakfast favorite. The slightly crunchy rectangular pastry is filled with raspberry marmalade and topped with a strawberry fondant and sweet sugar pearls. There is also a chocolate hazelnut option for all the Nutella fans out there, but we happen to prefer the fruit version. It's the perfect handheld breakfast, and you may have trouble going back to traditional Pop-Tarts after trying Disney's version.

Pasteries at Tamu Tamu Refreshments

Starting your Disney day at Animal Kingdom? Then Tamu Tamu Refreshments , located close to the safari, is a great spot to pick up an express breakfast. For a savory meal, we recommend the sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit. The soft, crumbly pairs perfectly with the melted cheese while the egg and sausage offer a nice protein boost to jump-start your day. If you prefer something sweeter, consider the honey pistachio croissant which is nice and flaky with the perfect crunch addition from the nuts. There's also a chocolate twist that rides the line between dessert and breakfast. It uses the same kind of dough as a buttery croissant but with chocolate worked in there.

Near Tamu Tamu, you can also find a great quiet seating area that allows you to rest before continuing your wild adventures. We also like grabbing a pastry and then hopping on the Rafiki Planet Watch Train for a nice ride to one of the more secretive areas of Animal Kingdom.
