The Tropical Starbucks Frappuccino Hack To Keep The Summer Going
Summer may feel like it's winding down, especially with 7-Eleven jump-starting pumpkin spice latte season earlier than expected, but with at least a month's worth of warm days left, there's still time to try all the fun, fruity secret menu creations at Starbucks. May through September is peak mango season, and what better way to celebrate than with a tropical-inspired Frappuccino? The order for a Mango Breeze Frappuccino is a little complex, but you'll be rewarded with a hot pink, sweet summer drink. Here's how to get it.
As @starbucksexotics explains in a TikTok video, start with a Frozen Mango Dragonfruit Lemonade Starbucks Refreshers Beverage from the new frozen lemonade Refreshers menu. Ask for the whole thing to be double blended with added peach juice, then ask for strawberry puree on the bottom of the cup. The original Refreshers beverage already comes with a scoop of dragonfruit inclusion and strawberry puree blended in, along with lemonade. So to give it the secret menu upgrade, request extra puree along the bottom of the cup, which you'll have to do in-person. If you just want the peach juice, however, you can add it on the app or website under "Juice Options." With flavors from four different fruits blended up into one frozen drink, you'll be able to keep summer going despite the pumpkin drink pop-ups.
Variations of the Mango Breeze Frappuccino
If you're determined to put off fall for as long as possible, there are a few other variations to the Mango Breeze Frappuccino you can try. Add strawberries to complement the puree, or apple juice instead of peach juice. And if you'd like a touch of nuttiness in your drink, try incorporating a pump or two of macadamia syrup.
For an invigorating herbal twist without the Frappuccino aspect, try ordering the Mango Dragonfruit Lemonade Refresher without the dragonfruit inclusion, but with added peach juice and iced passion tango tea. Also called the Sunset Drink on the secret menu, you can try requesting this TikTok favorite to be made layered (in-person only) so that the colors pile up like a pretty summer sunset. If you're set on a Frappuccino but want a little more of a dragonfruit taste, try the Dragonfruit Frappuccino. You'll start with a Mango Dragonfruit Lemonade Starbucks Refresher, then ask for it to be blended with coconut milk, an extra scoop of dragonfruit inclusion, a crème Frappuccino base, and whipped cream on top. If you don't mind a little extra strawberry flavor, you can start off with the frozen version of the Refresher and follow the same customizations. Even if you don't have any more fun summer activities planned, your taste buds will definitely be enjoying themselves.
