Almond-Yogurt Parfait
Leave the pie, take the apple compote
You can never have too much pie.

Tart granny smith apples are cooked down with cinnamon and honey to create a rich compote; when layered with Greek yogurt, crunchy almond butter, chia seeds and slivered almonds, the result is a creamy and cool–but still warming dessert–or snack, or breakfast that has all the flavor of a slice of pie without the heft.
Yeah, yeah, we get it, it's not pie. But you may find us sneaking one on Christmas morning.
