Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon star anise
  • 1 tablespoon fennel
  • 1 tablespoon cardamom seeds
  • 1 tablespoon cloves
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 2 cups honey
  • ½ cup water

Directions

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat. Reduce to a simmer and cook until reduced to 2 cups, about 15 minutes.
