How To Clean Burnt Pans
This simple solution will make your pans look as good as new
Cleaning burnt stainless steel pans is not easy, especially when you don't want to ruin your pan by scratching it or using harsh chemicals on it. Luckily, we have a simple solution that will leave your pan looking brand new in no time flat.
Put your pan in a 500-degree oven for 15 to 20 minutes, remove it, and then give it a quick wipe.
This method is similar to cleaning your oven at a very high temperature. Once the pan has been in the oven for 15 to 20 minutes, carefully remove it with oven mitts and use a dry cloth or paper towel to wipe away the stain. Don't be alarmed if you smell something burning during the process; that's just the high heat burning off the remnants of the stain.
Keep in mind that this works only on tough pans that can withstand high heat, so no nonstick pans allowed.
