New Peanut Butter & Jelly Oreos
Why, yes, we are definitely ready for this jelly
Look, as passionate as our undying love for Oreos is, you can't deny Nabisco has released some pretty questionable sandwich cookie flavors over the past year. Between head-scratching watermelon and the always-polarizing candy corn that, er, "graces" our shelves come Halloween, we've learned sometimes it's best not to mess with a classic. Unless you're combining two classics, that is.
Unlike a few of the other Oreo flavors of yore, the brand's newest creation, peanut butter and jelly, sounds right up our junk-food alley (read: We already have a glass of milk waiting in the wings). The limited-edition flavor was first spotted by The Impulsive Buy and consists of a swirl of peanut butter and jelly crèmes sandwiched between two golden cookies. However, before you continue concocting plans of packing a sleeve in your brown paper bag and passing it off as lunch, The Impulsive Buy also notes that this limited-edition flavor is an exclusive found only at Kroger grocery stores.
And, true, though the jelly crème appears to be more frosting than a blob of the real stuff you'd put on a sandwich, here's to hoping they at least had the decency to make it grape flavored.
