How To Clean Dirty Sheet Pans
Give your cookware new life with this easy trick
If you're hooked on one-pan meals like we are, then you know sheet pans are in heavy rotation. Even with a good scrub, grease and baked-on stains build up over time, making the cleaning process tougher than making dinner itself. Instead of running out to buy a new pan every time one gets a little too seasoned, try this trick to make it look like new again.
Use a mixture of baking soda and hydrogen peroxide to scrub off residue.
The combination of these two ingredients works wonders on a baking sheet. First, apply some baking soda to the pan, spray it with hydrogen peroxide, and then add another layer of baking soda. Let it sit for at least two hours, and using a heavy-duty sponge or rag and a little bit of muscle, scrub it all away. Wash the pan with dish soap and water to make sure all of the baking soda and hydrogen peroxide are removed before using.
