Best Book Club In NYC 2018 - 2019

Next Up: Less by Andrew Sean Greer

We tried to find a not lame public book club in New York and came up short. Some chose crappy books. Some featured only unfriendly people. Many had overt agendas that made us squirm.

So we formed our own book club this year along with our friends at THE MEATBALL SHOP in the West Village.

We're calling it our Naked Book Club, but birthday suits are not the dress code. Instead, each ticket includes a family style dinner of chef Daniel Holzman's famous "naked meatballs" along with seasonal sides and your choice of wine. We eat and chat while Tasting Table founder (and book club addict) Geoff Bartakovics leads the conversation. Food gossip optional.

You can come alone or you can bring a few friends to form your own club-within-our-club. Just read the book, reserve a spot using this link, and join us at THE MEATBALL SHOP West Village.
