The country's best convenience store just got better
There's a lot to love about Wawa, the roadside convenience store that's tattooed on the hearts of Pennsylvanians everywhere. Breakfast sandwiches, stuffed soft pretzels, fruit-and-cheese plates . . . and now, a limited-edition craft beer.
Wawa is teaming up with Pennsylvania brewery 2SP Brewing Company to make a custom coffee stout, combining 2SP's oatmeal stout with Wawa's Winter Blend coffee for a brew that brings to mind "flavors of sweet clove, dark chocolate and graham crackers."
The Chadds Ford location (the only Wawa that serves beer) is hosting a tapping event on Thursday, December 6, where you can be the first to try the release. After that, only 1,000 cases of the Winter Reserve Coffee Stout will be released to local bars and distributors—which is all the more reason to plan a pre-holiday road trip.
