Transit Cafe

This five-month-old cafe in the Presidio prepares simple salads and sandwiches, but the view from the patio–the Golden Gate Bridge on your left, the Bay before you–makes it a destination. The toasted BLT with melted provolone is quite good, and the happy-hour beer specials are good enough to keep you outside until the fog rolls in. See our previous coverage.
