Tajín And 4505 Meats Are Bringing A Classic Flavor To The Snack Aisle
Starting Tuesday, April 26, premium pork rind brand 4505 Meats is partnering with beloved Tajín to debut the new chile limón-flavored chicharrones. Known for their healthier and cleaner meat-based snacks, like chicharrones and sausage links, 4505 Meats sells snacks with a wide range of flavors and seasonings — but nothing quite like their new partnership with Tajín. According to Allrecipes, an iconic Mexican pantry staple, Tajín comes from Jalisco, Mexico, and infuses its chili, lime, and salt flavor in every bite.
"'Why didn't we think of this sooner?'," says Dagny Morrow, senior marketing manager at 4505 Meats. "That's the question we were asking ourselves when this collaboration first began — the pairing of Tajín and our chicharrones just makes sense. Since its inception, 4505 Meats has drawn significant inspiration from Mexican food culture and we're overjoyed to now partner with a legendary company like Tajín to bring our customers the ultimate chicharron experience."
Just in time for Cinco de Mayo
Coming days before the Cinco de Mayo, 4505 Meats and Tajín Clasico Seasoning's collaboration on chile limón chicharrones are designed to pair perfectly with your margarita, guacamole, and pico de gallo. Starting on December 23, 1985, Tajín opened its doors to the public and, in 1993, the brand made its way to the United States. Now decades later, Tajín's new partnership with 4505 Meats showcases the seasoning's popularity in the U.S.
"We're thrilled to partner with 4505 Meats to release Chile Limón Chicharrones," says Haydee Fernandez Macias, director of strategic alliances at Tajín. "Chicharrones are an iconic element of Mexican cuisine, and we're happy to bring Tajín's unique flavor to such a premium snack product for all to enjoy."
If you'd like to try this new 4505 Meats chicharrones flavor for yourself, they're now available at select Costco warehouses and will be via Amazon starting in May.
