Dunkin' Wants You To Show Your True Colors On The Court With Puma Collab
Hot on the heels of Dunkin's spring menu debut is a new launch from the beloved donut chain — and it's not a new summer refresher or sweet treat. In fact, it's not even edible.
The fast-food chain announced that it will be partnering with international sports company Puma to debut two limited-edition sneakers: the GV Special and the Triple Basketball. Retailing from $80 to $90, the new kicks will feature Dunkin's signature pink and orange colors, detailing inspired by the chain's iced coffee cup, and the logos of both companies.
As fresh as these shoes are, they actually aren't Dunkin's first sneaker collaboration. In 2018, ahead of the Boston Marathon, the chain joined forces with athletic footwear and apparel company Saucony to release a Dunkin'-inspired version of the Kinvara 9 running shoe in celebration of the city of Boston. The footwear also featured the restaurant brand's colors as well as some decorative sprinkles, as reported by Fast Company.
But, if you're interested in getting your own pair of Puma x Dunkin' sneakers, we have all the details.
When will the new Puma x Dunkin' shoes be available?
The special Puma x Dunkin' sneakers will launch on Dunkin' Iced Coffee Day — May 25, 2022 — and can be found at Puma's NYC flagship location and Dick's Sporting Goods stores, per a press release sent to Tasting Table.
In addition to releasing the shoe collaboration, the fast-food chain will celebrate by donating $1 from every iced coffee sold at participating locations on this date to the Dunkin' Joy in Childhood Foundation, which supports children's hospitals in various communities. Puma and Dunkin' have also donated their new footwear styles to workers in children's hospitals throughout the country.
The fast-food company hasn't limited its collaborations to the footwear industry, either.
Recently, it delved into the beauty world by teaming up with e.l.f. cosmetics to create a limited-edition makeup collection that included a doughnut-shaped blending sponge, an eyeshadow palette with Dunkin'-donut-inspired shades (such as Strawberry Frosted with Sprinkles and Boston Kreme), a coffee lip scrub, and more (via The Drum).
