Dunkin's Fall 2022 Menu Includes A Nutty Twist On Pumpkin Spice
If you're a Dunkin' fan counting down the days until pumpkin spice season — the time of year everyone's favorite sweet, creamy flavor makes its annual return to menus far and wide — you may have to wait a little longer. While the fall menu debuted at Dunkin' August 11 last year, in 2022 it won't appear until August 17.
But that may be well worth the wait, as (per a company press release) this year's fall offerings include a blend of fan favorites mixed with new two new drinks, one of which adds a hazelnut twist to the classic pumpkin spice flavors.
A perennial favorite, pumpkin cream cold brew is back for 2022. A smooth, slow-steeped cold brew with autumn-inspired palate ticklers like brown sugar and fall spices topped with a cinnamon-sugar bejeweled crown of pumpkin cream cold foam.
Another returning classic is Dunkin's pumpkin spice latte, which is flavored with sweet pumpkin, vanilla, and warm spices. Offered hot or iced, it's topped with whipped cream, caramel, and cinnamon sugar.
Maple sugar bacon is back on the menu as well, including a breakfast sandwich featuring the seasoned bacon, a fried egg, and white cheddar cheese served on a warm croissant. If you're craving a more portable snack, Dunkin's Maple Sugar Snackin' Bacon has returned; eight slices of bacon seasoned with maple sugar and served in an easy-transport sleeve.
Naturally, the pumpkin Munchkins and both a glazed and cake pumpkin donut are returning to the menu as well.
Dunkin's fall menu has two new drinks
This fall, Dunkin' is introducing two brand-new beverages, according to a press release, with one featuring a nutty twist on pumpkin spice.
Dunkin's new Nutty Pumpkin Coffee takes the chain's Original Blend iced coffee to the next autumnal level with a swirl of pumpkin spice, a shot of hazelnut flavoring, and cream. Available both iced or hot, if you're a fan of the standard Dunkin' pumpkin spice latte this is something you may want to consider giving a try.
The second newbie will likely please Dunkin' fans who live in warmer climates; places where fall doesn't always bring crisp breezes with the scent of wood-burning stoves drifting through the air. A chilled beverage, the new blood orange Refresher is a citrus-forward concoction — made to order with a base of green tea or coconut milk — that features a blend of cranberry and blood orange with hints of ginger and cinnamon.
So while you'll have to wait a few more days this year for pumpkin spice at Dunkin', the chain is betting you'll appreciate its take on the classic. If not, there are always the returning items or the fruity new Refresher coming to the menu as well.
