Experience

Cindy Chou, RDN is the Taiwanese American chef, registered dietitian nutritionist, and creator of HealthyFeels.com, where she shares Asian and Taiwanese recipes. She has spent 10+ years in the food industry cooking in professional kitchens and silent meditation retreats, teaching cooking and nutrition classes, and cooking for families as a private chef. She is a culinary nutrition expert and teaches online cooking courses on plant-forward recipes and Asian cuisine. Cindy has also worked as a recipe tester and food stylist for cookbooks and photoshoots. With an interest in the dynamics between our senses and how they can elicit memories, she launched The Sound of Cooking in 2018, an educational cooking video series that highlights familiar cooking sounds as a way to provide viewers another layer of connection through a virtual platform.

Education

Cindy is a registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN) and has a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from UC Irvine. She was trained in culinary arts at the Culinary Institute of America before studying clinical nutrition at NYU and completing her dietetic internship through Cal Poly SLO.
