Experience

Jessica has been writing about food and cooking since the mid-1990s. Beginning as an editor for a gourmet food trade magazine and then for a housewares magazine, she has written about everything from salsas to blenders to the latest superfoods. After graduating from culinary school, Jessica began developing recipes and went on to write several cookbooks. She's tested cooking equipment for About.com, Consumers Digest, and Clean Eating, and has written about food and cooking for AllRecipes, Kitchn, Yahoo!, and Mashed.

Education

Jessica has a bachelor's degree in English Rhetoric from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a culinary degree from the Institute of Culinary Education in New York City.
