  • A dedicated foodie who loves to travel, the first places Molly seeks out in any new destination are the culinary gems favored by locals.
  • She remains a stalwart lover of anything with "an acquired taste," including Marmite, pâté, and pork belly.
  • Although technically a flexitarian, Molly takes pleasure in writing on the subject of plant-based living and meat alternatives, hoping to expand even the most devout meat lover's palate a little wider.

Experience

Classically trained in AP-style reporting, Molly began her writing journey with a high school journalism class more than 15 years ago. Now a Lifestyle and Culture Writer, she most enjoys writing about food and travel. Having majored in Psychology at Seattle University, Molly loves to explore the psychology behind what we eat, viewing cooking as a therapeutic process and savoring delicious dishes as a form of self-care. In her career as a freelancer, she has worked as a content editor, overseen a writer's room for a media company's blog, and contributed as a ghostwriter for multiple food blogs and websites.

Education

Molly earned a bachelor's in psychology from Seattle University, graduating summa cum laude with a minor in studio art.
