Experience

Rebecca has been a professional writer and editor for over two decades, but her experience with food began as a child growing up fully self-sufficient on her family's organic "hobby farm." As a teen, she bussed and waited tables in her parents' fine dining restaurant and later gained valuable hospitality and culinary experience working summer jobs at the full gamut of eateries, from breakfast cafes and lunch spots to a five-star French restaurant. In her professional career, she spent ten years as the Editor-in-Chief of multiple luxury lifestyle and travel magazines and served as the Fine Dining Writer for Tribune Publishing's South Florida-based publications. Rebecca has extensive travel experience, and with that comes a passion for all things culinary, whether it be chasing down the best steamed dumplings at a night market in Taiwan, sipping Brunello in a Tuscan vineyard, or shrimping off the aft deck of a superyacht in Vancouver Island.

Education

Rebecca holds a B.A. in international business and French from Virginia Tech.
