Experience

Vanessa has been writing about her main passions in life — food and music — for over six years. From a young age, she studied the teachings of Anthony Bourdain as well as the great masters of the Food Network. She began her writing career at the McGill Tribune as a staff writer and later as the Arts & Entertainment section editor. Vanessa continued writing after graduation for the FeverUp blog Boston Uncovered, where she reported on restaurant openings and cultural events. In addition to Static Media, she is a frequent contributor to the Montreal-based magazine Pan M 360 and hosts a radio show on N10.AS. Her favorite meal is beef stroganoff.

Education

Vanessa has a bachelor's degree in cultural studies from McGill University in Montreal.
