Costco's affordable blocks of Parmigiano, bags of Pirate's Booty and browned rotisserie chickens may soon arrive at your doorstep. Grocery delivery company Shipt, which delivers from a host of supermarkets, is testing out home delivery from Costco in Tampa, Florida, as of this week.

"As we continue to scale Shipt on a national level, we look forward to offering more options for delivery to our Florida members today, and to Shipt members across the country in the future," Bill Smith, the founder and CEO of Shipt, says in a statement.
The company plans to be in 50 markets, reaching 30 million households by the end of the year, but it's unclear how many of them will be able to order from Costco. Instacart, another grocery delivery service, already delivers from Costco in parts of Arizona, New York, California, Florida and Washington, D.C. While the two are the only services working with Costco, the supermarket space is changing rapidly as Amazon prepares to launch grocery stores where shoppers place orders in advance, which are then brought to their cars, as well as a model where checkout lines are replaced by artificial intelligence.
Just remember, no matter how you order, you'll have to sacrifice all of those free samples.
